What you’re seeing & why now
We were planning to raise money and launch Mooney Club in about six months. As we got deeper, the problem turned out bigger than expected—especially around parts that were leaving Kerrville at below true cost. So we’re launching an early, charter version now: Mooney Assurance. Charter members won’t be forgotten when Mooney Club arrives, there will be a heavy discount for those who stepped up early.
What changed on pricing
Hard analysis showed many SKUs have been sold under cost. To keep certified parts flowing and protect the Production Certificate, we needed a price correction. Some have suggested doubling prices. We said no. Instead, we’re making a measured ~30% adjustment and giving owners a way to buy that back through membership.
Why we’re doing it this way
We’re here to prevent Mooney from going under, keep the PC healthy, and stabilize the parts pipeline. That’s it. Every membership dollar goes to the factory side of the problem—materials, supplier restarts, certified labor, tooling, compliance. Not perks. Not side projects. If you saw jokes about scholarships for our kids—yeah, we chuckled too. This is about fixing the parts economics, period.
How this evolves
Mooney Assurance → Mooney Club. As funding and capacity grow, benefits expand and costs should come down. We’ll publish short, honest updates in the Mooney Partner Portal so you can see the plan, the progress, and what’s next.

We will not deploy a dollar of Assurance funds until a critical mass of subscriptions is reached—enough to make a real difference rather than a symbolic gesture.

Every dollar collected will be used exclusively to create Mooney parts—materials, tooling, supplier restarts, certified labor, and the compliance work that keeps the PC healthy

We will not spend Assurance dollars outside of Mooney parts support or on anything that does not directly benefit the fleet. We will report on progress transparently in the Data Partner Portal so you can see the impact.
We will recognize early supporters as Founding Members in the Partner Portal and publish the progress your dollars make possible.
